Meet the Crew Behind Laurarium
Laurarium started with one little orange newt, a shared spark of curiosity, and the idea that tiny worlds can tell big stories. Today it is a family project built around wonder, responsible care, and the joy of sharing nature with others.
How Laurarium Began
Lauren had always wanted a few tiny creatures of her own. Then one day, while hiking together, Brian and Lauren spotted a little orange newt. That moment kicked open a new adventure. Brian was already drawn to terrariums, plants, and bugs. Lauren loved the idea of creating tiny worlds where little creatures could thrive. The name came naturally: Terrarium + Lauren = Laurarium.
What started as a fun hobby grew into something more educational, more meaningful, and more shareable. Laurarium now blends animal care, storytelling, creativity, and family learning into one growing ecosystem.

Lauren is the care-first creative mind of Laurarium. She brings research, observation, gentle stewardship, and a natural eye for habitat design. She helps shape the direction of the collection while making sure every tiny resident gets thoughtful attention.
